Shows at the Rusty Nail

We were just confirmed for two shows at the Rusty Nail in Ardmore, PA. We will be there November 27th, 2009 at 11PM and January 2nd, 2010 at 11PM. If you are around for the holidays or want to make sure you start 2010 properly, come on out and rock.

It's Go Time.

So we've been caught in a bit of a live performance rut recently, with not much going on. While Bobby Burger's is probably our favorite place to play (and we've been doing so once a month recently), it's time for us to start stepping it up. Those 4 hour gigs are killer too. Midway through the 3rd set, no one wants to be there anymore.

So, today I e-mailed our old friends at the Rusty Nail and Chris got back to me almost immediately with some dates for us to play there. The Nail is another awesome place to play. Real laid back with the potential for some huge crowds. There are a few locals there who actually look out for us on the calendar, which is cool.

I also e-mailed Doc Watson's on 11th and Walnut. They have some Sunday Night Sessions deal as well as some Wednesday open mics to help us get in the door.

I'm also planning on shooting a promo video Thanksgiving week. Just a short 3-4 minute deal about the band featuring some live performance footage.

The album is 95% done, with just a few guitar and vocal overdubs left. We've already contacted some placed regarding mastering so hopefully, this thing will be done soon.

Stay tuned and rock on.

One more practice...

We've been hard at work preparing for our recording session in Staten Island, NY on June 19th - 21st, 2009. Hopefully, we'll get about 13 original songs recorded this weekend and then finish up any vocals/overdubs at Drexel shortly thereafter. As it stands, we have one practice left tomorrow before we head up Friday afternoon.

Check out a live demo of one of our newest songs, "Uncle Larry."

Until next time, keep rocking.
